Upon inspection of the device,
I noticed the type of scuffs and scratches that happen with normal use.
Most of the top panel screws and some of the side panel screws are missing (see pictures #6, #9, and #10).
Due to the missing screws, the top panel is loose and pushes inwards easily.
There are heavier scratches on the top of the device (see picture #10).
Some of the letters to the rear of the device are scratched and fading (see picture #8).
The original hard drive was removed from the device.
All ports and connectors are in good cosmetic condition.
I was able to power on the device with an in-house car battery connected to the power terminal.
The display is tested to be working but there are dead pixels on the right side of the screen (see pictures #2 and #3).
The left and right display buttons are tested to be working.
The internal speakers are tested to be working.
I was able to test the Pause, Stop, Play, Skip-Rew, Fast Forward, and Skip+ buttons to be working and I was able to review a video stored on the hard drive.
I was able to test the camera, microphone, display, and volume buttons to be working.
The display navigation keys are tested to be working.
I attempted to wipe the hard drive but the device appears to have caused an error with the hard drive.
When it attempted to reload the hard drive it caused the device to beep and restart after displaying the boot screen.
Due to the fact that I was unable to properly wipe the hard drive, I removed the hard drive from the device.
No further testing could be completed due to lack of knowledge and/or resources.
The device is sold as is for parts or repair.
