Vintage NOS 1970's Hand Sickle Garden Farm Tool - Col-Cut Co Reading PA - Cutter

New old stock two position sickle made in the USA, circa 1970's.  Razor sharp heavy steel blade.  Riveted hardwood handle with curve fits the hand well.  Blade position  changes quickly.  Nice blue paint is in good condition.  Don't be fooled by the fancy looking sickles for sale today.  This style has been in service for a hundred years or better because it works.  Tools, and most everything else, were made better forty years ago before corporations got greedy.  I refuse to buy today's cheap goods that are designed to fail.  This tool will stand the test of time.  Would make a fine addition to any collection or put it to work.  Either way you'll have a winner.
