Vintage Case Iron Scythe

This is the head of a very vintage s
cythe,
which is basically a long-handled sickle used for cutting crops such as grass or wheat.  This item is old and rusty with an unknown history, except that it was purchased at a Garage sale in Southern California in the 1980s.  After many years on the fence, the old long handle has broken off.  Interesting wall hanger.
