Description
Unique Gold and Blue Steampunk Sonic Screwdriver and Med Brown Line Carved Holster Setis a pair of products that showcase imagination and use of recycled and scrap pieces—the centerpiece of the steampunk movement. This Sonic Screwdriver portion is inspired by Dr Who or but is much larger and clunkier utilizing wash machine parts, bits of pvc pipes, pvc couplers and decorative elements found in my box of assorted pieces. The piece is painted blue, gold and copper, distressed and black striped with electrical tape. It also resembles a Steampunk Lightsaber Hilt which is reinforced by the line carving and color of the holster, designed from pieces of leather found in my box labeled unusual leather bits. The Lightsaber/Screwdriver measures 11.5” long X 2.5” at the widest top part and the shaft is about 2.75” circumference.
The “jedi” theme is carried forward on the leather holster by the utilitarian use of the Sam Brown Stud closure, and the rest of the nickle plated hardware, snap , rivet and ring as the decorative elements of the medium brown natural edged holster.
Everything on the holster is stitched with sturdy braided cord and reinforced with tanners glue for durability.
The holster measures 8.5” long X about 3.5” at the widest (includes the ring) and will fit on a belt up to 2.75” wide.
If you look at the open shot of the holster you will see two grey elastic loops which can covert this holster into a wand holster should you desire it.
The price for the 2 piece set is .00 US priority shipping included. The pair can be broken into ala carte pieces, should you wish, but these prices must be obtained by contacting the designer/seller per case, and you will pay for shipping when the set is broken up. The best value pricing is always done by purchasing both pieces but if you desire to break up the set, I certainly will do so.
