Chains should be fitted to the tire before actual use; fitment can be affected by tire age, tire manufacturer, and/or tread type. Chain tensioners are required but NOT included with all NON-CAM type chains. These chains are manufactured to the specifications of the National Association of Chain Manufacturers but do not meet SAE Class "S" requirements. These chains come in a durable, waterproof, and recyclable plastic storage container.
