From Professional's choice, these are beautiful brushes with grooved finger grips.  The Great Grooves Wood Series is produced from the wood of Paulownia trees.  This tree is also know as the "Princess Tree" and is used all over the world for reforestation and to help stop erosion. Paulownia is a tree that thrives in areas where many trees won't grow.  The wood from these trees is very light, as well as being resistant to warp and rot.  These are the qualities you will want to look for in a wood brush.  We think the dark-stained brushes are beautiful and have have great bristle detail!
Small horsehair is a wood version of the horsehair brush. 6 1/2 by 2 1/4 inches.
