    Description

    PUMPKIN MOON
    This primitive rug hooking kit features a pumpkin with a large moon behind it and a crow in front, with a vine in its mouth. There are two spooky trees on either side of the moon. The pumpkin, the vines and the stars are hand-dyed wool. The rest is off the bolt wool. The pattern measures approximately 10” x 14” when hooked and is hand drawn on linen.  I sew the edges to prevent them from fraying and I carefully draw the lines on the grain. When hooked it is perfect for a  wall hanging, table top or can be made into a pillow.

    Most of the strips are #8 cut (1/4”) but some of the strips for the branches of the trees and the feathers of the crow are #4 cut (1/8"). They can be found in the bag with the strips for the trees and the pumpkin, respectively.
