    Description

    Welcome to my listing for an original poster from 2007 used in the "Silhouette Dancer" advertising campaign for the
    Apple iPod
    music player. This poster is not printed on paper, but on some kind of clear
    plastic sheet
    -- I don't know if it's vinyl or acetate or what -- and was designed to be hung in front of a light source and back-lit, for a vibrant colorful effect. Typically these backlit posters were placed in subway stations, on outdoor kiosks, or indoors at a trade show; I picked up this particular poster as a discard, so I don't know where or how it was hung. The poster measures approximately 52.5 inches wide by 68 inches long. It's in good condition overall, but has some minor wear from use and handling.  The whole poster has a thin plastic backing or protective layer on its backside, which seems to be held on mostly by static electricity, but it is separating away at the top and bottom. There are several small bends (not hard creases or folds) in the poster material here and there -- see close-ups in Photos 5 and 6. The poster has been stored rolled, and will be shipped rolled, in a long box. If you have any questions, please contact me and I'll do my best to answer them.
