    Each aluminum plate is designed to hold radiant PEX tubing, allowing for maximized thermal diffusion and easy installation.
    Plates are designed for 1/2" nominal I.D. tubing (5/8" O.D.) and can be used with most any brand of PEX, PEX-AL-PEX or EVOH coated 'Oxygen Barrier' PEX.
    Plates are stapled or screwed in place to subfloor or backing. Thermal conductive sealant can be used to bond tubing to plate and increase thermal conductance.
    Plate holds loop tubing in an 8" diameter on-center groove. The spacing is ideal for use with single or double groove field plates.
    Radiant heat transfer plates are typically used for under floor (between joist) or above subfloor (sleeper) installation, but can also be used in radiant wall and ceiling installations.
    Plates can be cut using tin snips or cutoff wheel. If making any modifications, be extra careful to remove burrs or sharp edges that could cause abrasion or damage the tube.
